PAYMENT
It is our policy to list all your items together and at the same time to form a consignment.
At the end of your items 30 day listing period we calculate what we owe you and issue payment.
Payment is the balance of the sale proceeds of your items minus our standard fees as set out in the above table of fees.
Payment is made after the cooling off period has expired for the buyer, this is 7 days after the buyer has received the item/s.
LISTING FORMAT
BUY IT NOW WITH BEST OFFER
We encourage our customers to use the ‘Buy it now’ format with a ‘Best offer’ option. this is the most successful method of selling most items on Ebay.
This lasts for 28 days, unlike the auction format which commonly lasts only for 7 days.
The Buy it now/Best offer format allows us to keep total control over the sale of the item. For example: Any offer made by a prospective purchaser even if its just for a penny less than the Buy it now price is subject to our consideration.
Any offer made is subject to our choice of three options.
1. Accept the offer
2. Make a counter offer .i.e. revert back to the person who has made the offer and request that they agree to pay a higher sum, closer to the Buy it now Price (original asking price )
3. Decline the offer
We can list your items using a different format, if you wish us to do so. Please call us to discuss what options are available and what the costs will be.
UNSOLD ITEMS
We will automatically relist your item without further contact unless you specifically instruct us not to do so.
Our fees for relisting the item are contained in the above table.
ALTERNATIVES TO RELISTING
Once the account has been settled you have three alternatives to relisting your items are as follows:
1. Allow us to return the items to you at no cost
2. Gift the items to us so that we may relist them at our cost and give the proceeds to Charity. (Proceeds minus our standard fees)
3. Instruct us to dispose of them without further cost.
